Your NAME or OTHERS NAMES are not showing in the chat - do this...

If you are having a problem with chat room visibility, (can get in the room but your name does not show up and can't see anything that anyone is writing) you can try clearing your temporary internet files and turning off your browser and opening it back up.

That seams to fix this.

I actually had this happen to me as well. My name would not show (just my icon) and no one else who was in the room would show either.

REASON: This is because the chat program was updated and your computer may have stored the older version locally on your hard drive (So you do not need to download it each time you visit the chat room).

So Deleting your offline content (temporary internet files) should do the trick and if not just reboot your computer (or at least the browser) and try again. If it still does not work PM me.

I am on my Mac at the hotel. I went into chat last night for a sec no problems and also earlier this aftn. Tonight I thought I would pop in for just a sec and it said my name was already in use and then it logged me in as test. I can see people and then can see me as test. weird. I will try it again tomorrow and see what it does.

The company is probably working on the problem. Anyone else having problems please let me know so I can have the company who makes the chat address any problems.

Hi Mod,

I'm hopeing that you can help me log into the chat room. My name and icon show up in the who's chatting box, but when I click the join chat button nothing happens. I've deleted my cookies and history and rebooted my computer several times now and still can't get in. I've also turned off my pop up blocker. I'm running a net book with Windows 7 and IE at the moment.
Please help me join in the fun.

If your name appears in the chat on the right you are logged into the room (Do you see the chat on the left of the page and the banner at the top?)

Just click the white area at the bottom, type a message and click SEND.

Oh dear,

I've been banging my head against this problem for days and all the time the chat box has been hideing under my tool bar.
